Beautiful People

I lack any sense of fashion.. srsly. I've always been a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. Sure, I've always wanted to dress pretty and feminine, but I don't know how. I especially don't know the right way to flatter my er, curves. I read several blogs that inspire me to dress pretty, but I don't have the funds nor the body for it. But I'll share them anyway!

DIY Toner with Green Tea and Apple Cider Vinegar

My bottle of favorite toner by Mario Badescu is getting low, and so is my wallet. I just happened to check out xSparkage's blog and saw her video for an inexpensive toner that you can make yourself. Luckily for me, I had some apple cider vinegar handy (I keep it around because its great for curing sore throats!). I didn't have any witch hazel, so I left it out. I didn't follow her recipe exactly; I googled and found some variations around the web, and took it into my own hands. .

Recipe variations:
1 part ACV to water;
(if that's too strong/harsh, dilute it with more water; say 2 parts ACV, 5 parts water)

If the ACV smell is too much for you, replace the water with Green Tea.

If its still too much for you, here's a recipe for just a Green Tea Toner:

1 Cup normal tap water or some bottled water
4 tsp of fresh green tea leaves or 1 - 2 tea bags
1 Vitamin C tablet, i use 500mg - 1000mg (optional)

So here's what I did; I mixed 2 parts ACV to 5 parts green tea. I'm still testing it out and will edit with my experience.
